The Scent & Mood: The tradition of the Twelfth Night Cake dates back to medieval times, with the first recipe recorded by the Victorians. It included all the ingredients we know and love: cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and candied orange peel. This comforting, warming, and truly traditional blend uses pure essential oils that are completely natural and unique to Burning Bright.

Topped with dried orange, cinnamon and clove, clove being a powerful oil used to protect against the plague, it is also a symbol of Christmas when combined with the traditional orange pomander.
